Please make a donation to the Partners in Education campaign today!
Partners in Education is an annual donation campaign that funds a wide range of curriculum-enriched outdoor education programs facilitated by the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority. These carefully planned and professionally delivered activities benefit youth of all ages and are made available at both the Little Cataraqui Conservation Area in Kingston and the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CCF, along with the Cataraqui Conservation, are facing new funding pressures. Conservation staff are working hard to offer new ways to bring education programs to children. The Cataraqui Conservation is also working with local school boards to create innovative ideas for future learning such as online programming, so that vital learning can continue.
Educational programs are linked with provincial curriculum requirements and are offered to children during the school year, school breaks, holidays and throughout the summer. The opportunity for students to learn in an outdoor classroom encourages youth to develop a life-long appreciation for the protection of our natural environment.
