Join Cataraqui Conservation to celebrate our 60th Anniversary with a free weekend of activities at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
Stuff the Truck! - in lieu of the gate fee, and if you are able, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the local food bank.
We will have lots of family friendly activities including Reptile Show (1 pm), hikes, scavenger hunts, pond dipping or a bug safari (depending on weather) a self guided story walk, snack bar, games, and informational displays from some of our partners - Friends Groups, Cataraqui Conservation Foundation, Kingston Field Naturalists, Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre and more.

We will have lots of family friendly activities including two shows from the Canadian Raptor Conservancy (10am and 1 pm), hikes, scavenger hunts, pond dipping or a bug safari (depending on weather) a self guided story walk, snack bar, games, and informational displays from some of our partners - Friends Groups, Cataraqui Conservation Foundation, Kingston Field Naturalists, Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre and more.

Anniversary Concert - $5 Tickets
The last show of our 60th Anniversary concert series, sponsored by the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation, will focus on kids and families, with a performance led by local music educator and musician/performer Christina Foster along with Alex Mundy. For this special show, the first set will feature family-oriented songs, while the second set is a fun, exciting and interactive presentation that will provoke sing-alongs and squeals of laughter.
Concert patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and in the event of inclement weather, the shows will be cancelled, with notice given 48 hours before showtime.
Tickets are $5 plus tax, children under 5 free of charge. Tickets are purchasable here: Events (cataraquiconservation.ca).

We will not be printing physical tickets, please have a copy of your receipt as proof of ticket to show at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area gatehouse.

Annual General Meeting
The 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation will take place at 6:30 pm on Monday, June 17, 2024. Monthly Board Meeting
Members of the public and interested potential board members/volunteers are invited to attend the monthly meeting of the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation board of directors. It will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. in the boardroom at the Cataraqui Conservation administration building, located on the grounds of Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
